P.O.S Support (IT)
The candidate will be assigned as a Point of Sale Support Technician of our many in-house POS Systems. Must be technically and interpersonally skilled to handle end-user support of common POS and Microsoft desktop applications. Some Windows and Linux based server administrative tasks may also be involved. The appropriate candidate must be able to perform general maintenance of networked PC workstations and printers. Some hardware and software installation is involved. The candidate will also be assisting in adds, moves, and changes of the property POS systems. The point of sale support tech must be able to assist in the day to day general operations and organization of the IT department. Individual must be very detailed and process oriented and possesses the ability to see projects from start to finish. In addition, be able to develop and implement processes as they relate to the system and operations of the resorts.
At least 2 years’ experience supporting PC hardware and software.
Must be flexible in scheduling and be able to work evenings, holidays and weekends.
Must possess excellent communication skills and have a desire to work with other people in a team environment.
Familiarization with accounting and auditing processes is desirable.
Familiarization with Microsoft Windows XP/7, Server 2003/2008/2008R2
Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking.
Must be congenial, friendly, service oriented, business oriented and well organized.
