Executive Pastry Chef

Job Overview:           Supervises and Coordinates activities of workers in pastry shop.


Report to:                   Executive Chef


Basic Responsibilities:


Supervises and coordinates activities of workers in pastry shop to produce breads, pastries, cakes. Creates new recipes and new menus. Assigns specific tasks and directs workers in task performance. Inspects pastry shop, baking equipments and workers for cleanliness. Requisitions supplies and equipment .Schedule and all the paper work related with the pastry shop .Creates sugar and chocolate centerpieces, responsible for production of chocolate truffles.


Knowledge, Information & Educational Requirements


Must have Knowledge and Experience in Baking.

Must have management skills.

Must have planning and organization skills.



Five to ten full years of employment experience in a related position with this company or other organization(s).


Physical demands


Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally.

 Ability to be subject to substantial repetitive motions of the body or its parts.

Ability to support oneself in an erect and/or completely upright position for a prolonged period of time; for instance perhaps as long as an entire shift.
