Welcome to the Garden Cafe, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are made extraordinary.

General Manager Ali Raafati, an internationally educated host with an arsenal of five languages, works hand in hand with Executive Chef Phillip Yates to make every meal in the Garden extraordinary. Born near the Caspian Sea and educated in programs from Switzerland to Italy, Ali knows good food, and more importantly, good hospitality.

The Garden Café’s menu pays tribute to the joy of sharing good food with friends, especially showcased in our Saturday Night Land & Sea event, combining beautiful surroundings with the finest local ingredients. Our famed Sunday Brunch is a sumptuous feast filled with possibilities beyond the imagination.  Choose from seasonal fresh specials and new twists on old favorites to make your Salt Lake City dining experience exquisite.  

Revisit the comforts of home with the Garden Café’s signature light and creamy Macaroni and Three Cheeses. Or select salmon glazed with Utah honey and maple syrup, fennel-crusted halibut, or any of our fresh seafood dishes—always cooked to perfection. Red meat lovers will rejoice in the Garden Café’s acclaimed Cowboy Steak—18 ounces of tender, beefy goodness, accompanied by crispy onion rings and sour cream-whipped Idaho potatoes. Delicious pastas, generous salads, and freshly made soups round out the Garden Café’s delectable offerings. All, of course, are accompanied by our locally famous European-style breads, freshly baked each morning in The Grand America’s pastry kitchen.
