Utah's Hogle Zoo

The Clark Planetarium
Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, Clark Planetarium explores the wonders of space and science through state-of-the art theatres, free exhibits and the Planet Fun Store. Clark Planetarium is a Division of Salt Lake County. The IMAX Theater located at the Clark Planetarium is a jaw-dropping experience. The digital surround sound and stunning images will have you holding your breath as you discover amazing places on the immense screen.

The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium
The Living Planet Aquarium is home to nearly 2,000 marine animals from 342 species. It is divided into three main exhibits: Discover Utah, Ocean Explorer, and Journey to South America! Discover Utah features native river otters. Watch these cute and curious animals play tag with one another and “juggle” pebbles with their paws. Crawl aboard a sunken ship and learn about jellies, eels, seahorses and much more in Ocean Explorer. On your Journey to South America!, see belly-sliding penguins and sharp-toothed caiman alligators. Equipped with a gift shop and café, The Living Planet Aquarium is a hands-on, delightfully educational getaway for adventurers of all ages.

Located in Liberty Park, the aviary offers bird shows, immersive exhibits and is an accessible, enjoyable place for families to visit. Tracy Aviary offers opportunities to view hundreds of live birds. Families also have the opportunity to watch bird shows and hand-feed some of the birds.

The Natural History Museum of Utah is a museum located at the Rio Tinto Center on the campus of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. The museum shows exhibits of natural history subjects, specifically about Utah's natural history. The mission of the museum is to illuminate the natural world and the place of humans within it. The new building was opened in 2011.

The Leonardo is an art, science, and technology museum in downtown Salt Lake City which opened on October 8, 2011. The mission of the Leonardo Museum (named after the artist and scientist Leonardo da Vinci) is to fuse science, technology and art in experiences that inspire creativity and innovation in young people and adults. This program is aimed to attract those individuals, families and businesses who can help to create and build on Utah’s and the city’s brand as an innovation economy.
