Utah is considered by many to be the National Park capitol of the nation with five distinct National Parks and 16 National Monuments and Recreation Areas. Salt Lake City, located in the heart of the state, makes a perfect hub from which to plan your scenic or outback adventure.

Each of the National Parks, including Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands and Capitol Reef, offer unique beauty and recreational opportunities unparalleled by other parks in the nation. Since the parks are located close together, you can visit one or two or experience the wonder of them all.

The Utah Travel Council and the Salt Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau, both with offices in downtown Salt Lake City, are excellent sources of travel-related information.
