Catching Snowflakes
Say ahhhh, Snow Buddies! Has anyone ever told you “Never eat the yellow snow”? Trust me, I’ve been around every winter on Earth, and that is some pretty good advice. When snow sits on the ground for a while, dirty feet—among other things—make it impossible to eat. That’s the magic of catching snowflakes as they fall from the sky—it’s the freshest the snow will ever be! Close your eyes, hold out your tongue, and feel the icy flake melt into a tiny drop of water in your mouth. On a perfect lightly snowy day, Snowball loves to catch a few delicate flakes on his scratchy kitten tongue. Can you spot him—or his tiny, pink tongue—now?
