High-Altitude Harmony: A Chapter shared at the Grand Table

Two chefs, two heritages, and one shared history in Santa Fe come together for a single evening at Laurel. The Chef Series returns as Executive Chef Christian Ojeda welcomes Chef Martin Rios of Restaurant Martín for a six-course culinary dialogue.

Both chefs built their reputations in Santa Fe’s acclaimed dining scene, and both pair classical French technique with a passion for local sourcing and native botanicals. Drawing on Chef Ojeda’s Chilean heritage and Chef Rios’ Mexican roots, the menu weaves memories of open-air markets into each course, finishing with a dessert created in collaboration with Chef Xavier. Chef Ojeda, who earned back-to-back Forbes Four-Star ratings at Bernardus Lodge & Spa, is joined by Chef Rios, a multiple-time James Beard Award finalist whose restaurant is Michelin Recommended. Together, they bring the lively, elegant energy of a world-class brasserie to Laurel’s private dining rooms, where seating is very limited.

The evening begins with a canapé reception from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by dinner from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Each guest will leave with a parting gift of New Mexico chile-spiced macarons from The Grand America to enjoy at home.

Join us Friday, November 13, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the private dining rooms at Laurel Brasserie & Bar at The Grand America Hotel. Open to the public.
