Do you require a deposit or incidental hold upon check-in?
Yes, at check-in, we will authorize your card for the Room & Tax, plus a temporary 30 percent hold for incidentals. Any amount held that you don’t spend will be released upon checkout. Please note that this hold typically takes 3-5 business days to disappear from your credit card statement.
Do you accept cash payments?
We accept cash payments upon checkout. A credit card is required at check-in.
Someone else is supposed to pay for my room. How can they do that?
Have them call the hotel and request a Credit Card Authorization Form. They will provide their email address, and we will send the form for them to fill out. This allows us to securely apply their credit card information to your reservation. Please note that if they choose to cover Room & Tax only, you will still be required to provide a credit card at check-in for a $100 incidental hold.
Do you have a shuttle to/from the airport?
No, we do not offer shuttle service; however, our concierge can arrange a taxi or private car for you. We You can also take the TRAX Green Line, and get off/on at the Courthouse Station, just a half block from our hotel.
How much does parking cost?
Valet parking is $34 per night. Self-parking is $24 per night.
Where can I get coffee in the morning? Is it complimentary?
Complimentary coffee is available in the lobby from 4 AM to 6 AM. Bonne Vie opens at 6 AM and serves to-go coffee and espresso drinks. There is also a coffeemaker in your room for your convenience.
Does the spa offer day passes?
No, The Grand Spa does not offer day passes. A minimum $100 service is required in order to access the spa facilities, including the sauna and steam room. This does not apply to the fitness center, which is open to all hotel guests free of charge.
What are the Fitness Center hours?
The Fitness Center is open 24-7 for all hotel guests.
Do you have a laundry service? How does it work?
Yes, we do provide laundry and dry cleaning services for our guests. Put your items in the laundry bag in your room and fill out the slip of paper included with it. Call Guest Relations from your room, and we will send someone to pick it up or drop it off with the bellmen at the bellstand.
How do I print something?
You can print at our Business Center or email your documents to businesscntr@grandamerica.com. We will print them and email you when they are ready to be picked up.
Do you have roll-away beds?
No, we do not offer roll-away beds.
Is there a microwave in the room?
No, none of our rooms have microwaves except for our Executive Kitchen Suites. If you would like, we can have one sent to your room for a $20 delivery fee.
Is there a mini fridge in the room?
There is a small cooling fridge in the room that contains the mini-bar drinks and snacks. You are more than welcome to remove the mini bar items and place your own food and drinks in there, it is not weighted. Please note it just keeps items cool, not cold. If you need an actual mini fridge, we can have one delivered to your room for a $50 delivery fee.
Where can I make reservations for Afternoon Tea?
Afternoon Tea reservations are made online only and must be booked at least one day in advance. If you are seeking a day-of reservation, inquire with the hostess at the Lobby Lounge.
